Great weekend in Gettysburg!

Frontline Eurosports in Roanoke is now an Indian dealer. They received their first 2021 Indian, a Pearl Black Chieftan. More will be following as they are produced.

We're excited to announce that BMW ambassadors Shawn Thomas and Louise Powers will be joining us at Soggy Bottom MotoFest this year!

They will be participating in the rides on July 23rd and 24th, as well as providing additional informative sessions. Here is their anticipated schedule:

Friday Night:
Louise will give her Solo Travels presentation, including how to pack, what to pack, bike set up, and more! If you've ever wanted to go on a solo trek, you won't want to miss this talk!

Saturday Morning:
They will be leading a Beginner ADV Bike Rider Clinic. If you have just begun your adventure riding journey, then this is the event for you. One-on-one interaction with BMW legends and hands on experience with a BMW GS are great ways to learn the ins and outs of adventure riding.

Saturday Night:
Shawn and Louise will talk about their world travels, going into detail about how they achieved their level of riding ability and what adventure riders of all skill level should consider before heading off on a tour.

Whether you've been riding your whole life or you are just beginning, this is one weekend you won't want to miss!

Stacey, some riders for you to run with.

Today five of us ventured out for an impromptu ride. We started with the hazy destination of returning to River Road in Ellicott City. 45 minutes later we were enjoying the road and noticed a Bald Eagle was flying up the river in tandem with us for about a half minute before resting in a tree and watching us as we passed. He was directly across from me as I led our group-- what a cool experience of flight freedom.

We pulled over a minute later for a photo op- attached.

Next we decided to find our favorite Baltimore cafe, Artifact Coffee, for a late afternoon snack. It is located near Woodberry Kitchen, another of our favorite eating places.

Then we made our way back to Clarksville following Kurviger and it chose a fine route on a few roads I have not travelled before. It took us past the Woodstock Inn and at the end of Woodstock Road at Rt. 99 we parked at The Snowball Stand for a twisted cone before heading home.

I hope the rest of you enjoyed the afternoon sun and got in a ride. With rain coming tomorrow morning I will not be at Woodside and will look forward to another sunny Sunday to break bacon with you. ... See more
